Rajkot. A young man who was badly burnt in a fire in a sanitizer sparked in a CCTV DVR at a factory on Kotharia Road in the city on Tuesday succumbed to his injuries after a short treatment. Thorala police PI GM Hadia said that a young man named Ashwinbhai Maganbhai Pansuria, a resident of Vivekananda Nagar-14 on Kotharia Road, was at his factory office in Shri Hari Industries area on Kotharia Road on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a spark ignited the sanitizer and the young man was badly burnt in the blaze. So he was moved for treatment. But he died after a short treatment. However, the entire fire incident was captured on CCTV.
He was checking if there was any problem in the DVR in the office around 4 pm on Tuesday. At that moment, the DVR was suddenly short-circuited and the sparks from it fell on a bottle of sanitizer and a can of kerosene. The table was engulfed in flames as a bottle of sanitizer and kerosene were found near the table and Ashwinbhai, who was on the table, was also engulfed in flames. In which she was severely scorched. So hearing Ashwinbhai's boom, other people came running. And shifted the burnt Ashwinbhai to the hospital for treatment via 108 ambulances and informed the fire brigade. Troopers doused the blaze with water cannons. Ashwinbhai, who was badly burnt in the fire, succumbed to his injuries after a short treatment

The deceased has one son in the offspring. After the lockdown, there were no laborers. At present, Ashwinbhai used to open the factory and return home after sitting for a few hours. Yesterday, while the CCTV cameras were off and the DVR was checking, a sudden short circuit erupted with sparks. The fire spread further as Ashwinbhai was engulfed in flames as he kept the sanitizer W down.
