Amreli: Dhari, Savarkundla, heavy rains in Liliya, flood waters in Sarsiya village


Amreli: On the Dhingi Dhara of the district, there is a procession at the time of Megharaja.  Amidst the scattered rains, the farmers were waiting for the rains to reach their farms.  Similar rains lashed many areas of Amreli district today.  In Khambha Panth, heavy clouds fell from the sky in the afternoon.  It rained three inches of rain with thunder and wind.  Sowable rain fell in Bhavardi, Sarakadia, Ingarala, Bhad, Kadia etc. villages.  After heavy downpour in Amreli till noon, thunderous clouds fell on Amreli.

Farmers in villages including Dhari's Sarsiya, Amrutpur were happy with the rains.  Heavy rains lashed the Sarsiya VD area of ​​Gir forest.  There was light rain in Chalala and surrounding areas. Heavy rains fell in rural areas of Savarkundla.  Heavy clouds were falling and rain was coming.  It rained in villages including Junasavar and Shedhavdar in Savarkundla.  The water on the road had turned again.  Even in these areas, sowing rains have brought joy to the farmers.

Megharaja has also arrived in Khamba taluka on the second day.  The next day it rained heavily in the rural diocese.  Farmers have been scrambling for seeds of groundnut, cotton, etc. since this morning.  Peanut G-20 was priced from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 2300.

The rains have arrived in the state due to nature storms and pre-monsoon activity.  The meteorological department has forecast that rainy weather will prevail in different parts of Gujarat for the next five days.  Apart from this, universal cloudburst was witnessed in Amreli district today.  The meteorological department has also indicated that the monsoon will be on time.
