New Delhi: More than 15,000 cases a day will be reported in India by the middle of this month, according to a model drawn up by Chinese experts on the spread of Corona virus infection. Lanzhou University in the northwestern Chinese province of Gansu has released daily estimates for 180 countries under the Global Covid-19 Predict System.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the group of experts estimated 9291 cases for India for June 2, which is very close to the fact. In India, 8909 cases have been registered so far on Wednesday. According to this model, 9676, 10, 078, 10,498 and 10936 cases have been estimated in India for the next four days respectively.
"On May 28, 7467 cases were registered in India and we estimated 7607 cases," Huang Jianping, an expert associated with the project, told the Hindustan Times. He said that till June 15, more than 15,000 cases would come up in India every day. Corona cases in India have crossed 2 lakh.
Experts say more than 30,000 cases were reported every day in the United States in June, and European countries will now see a steady decline in transition.

The estimates released online last week are based on weather, environment, population density and control measures. Huang said there are several factors behind the spread of corona virus infection, including population density, quarantine measures and the environment.
