FIR against Morari Bapu, accused of making offensive remarks on Lord Krishna


Controversy has erupted over the remarks made by storyteller Morari Bapu on Lord Krishna.  A case has been registered against Morari Bapu at the police station in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.  Saint Saurabh Raghavendra Acharya Maharaj of Jaipur has registered a case at the Kalwad police station, alleging that Lord Krishna made offensive remarks.  The case is being investigated by Lokpal Singh.

According to police, Sant Saurabh Raghavendra Acharya of Jaipur on Saturday lodged a complaint at the Kalwaj police station alleging that he had made offensive remarks on Lord Krishna during a speech by narrator Morari Bapu at the Adi Shakti Peeth in Mirzapur some time back.  Whose video is now going viral on social media.  The saint alleged that during the reading of the story, Morari Bapu called Lord Krishna a characterless person, an alcoholic, a thief and a molester, which has hurt the religious sentiments of the people.

 According to police, Jaipur's Sant Saurabh Raghavendra Acharya had lodged a complaint at the Kalwad police station and at a recent Adi Shakti Peeth in Mirzapur, storyteller Moraribapu made a catastrophic remark about Lord Krishna during a speech, the video of which is now going viral on social media.  The saint has alleged that during the story-telling, Morari Bapu has made Lord Krishna immoral, drunk, a thief and a molester, so as to hurt the religious sentiments of the people.

 Following the viral video of storyteller Morari Bapu, an organization called Kanha Vichar Manch has written an open letter to Bapu requesting him to purify himself of unforgivable crimes.  In ten days, he has gone to the Jagdish temple in Dwarka and demanded forgiveness for his crime.

 However, due to further controversy, storyteller Morari Bapu has finally apologized.  It is to be noted that after the remarks made about the family of Lord Krishna, there was a feeling of resentment among the devotees of Lord Krishna.  Bapu has apologized for this.
