The wall of the overbridge near Aji Dam on Rajkot Bhavnagar Highway suddenly collapsed this afternoon. Two people have died on the spot in this accident. Rescue operations are currently underway. A police convoy has also rushed to the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, the entire wall collapsed in 20 seconds, at which time two drivers passing below were crushed alive. Surprisingly, National Highway Authority officials did not arrive at the scene even after the incident.
