Corona virus has become rampant in the state. In view of the increasing number of cases, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has appointed 2 officers for the operation of Corona in Rajko.

It may be mentioned that after Ahmedabad and Surat, the number of cases of Corona virus in Rajkot of Saurashtra is increasing day by day. The matter is of real concern when Jayanti Ravi, front secretary of the state health department, rushed to Rajkot yesterday to discuss the rising case of corona virus and the current situation with officials. Today, the Chief Minister of the state Vijay Rupani has taken serious note of this matter and has appointed 2 officers.
2 officers appointed by CM Rupani
Milind Torvane and Mehul Dave have been appointed to operate Corona in Rajkot. Milind Torvane will co-ordinate the work of the government among the two officers while Mehul Dave will handle the work of the corporation. A team of special doctors from Ahmedabad was also sent to Rajkot.

Jayanti Ravi on a 5 day visit to Rajkot
Jayanti Ravi, the front secretary, arrived in Saurashtra today along with three doctors from the health department who became uncontrollable. They will spend 6 days in Rajkot and review the situation. Health Secretary Jayanti Ravi said 100 more ventilators would be provided to Rajkot Hospital in view of Corona's condition in Rajkot. A control room will be started at Rajkot. As well as increase the oxygen system. He further said that action would be taken if a private hospital exploited the people.
1280 new cases registered in Gujarat in last 24 hours
According to a press note released by the state government's health department, 1280 cases of corona have been reported in Gujarat in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the total number of cases in the state has reached 96,435.

Continuous increase in testing
The number of tests is increasing day by day in Gujarat due to Corona virus. Currently, a total of 61 laboratories are functioning in the state and rapid antigen kits have also been used for the last one month. A total of 66,363 tests for the corona virus have been conducted in the state today while the total number of tests has reached 23,31,836.
So far, 77,782 patients have had coronary heart disease

Today 1280 cases of corona while 1025 patients have recovered so far a total of 77,782 patients have died of corona. All of these have been discharged from the hospital. Thus, the recovery rate in Gujarat is 80.66 percent. At the same time, most cases of corona have been reported in Surat, Ahmedabad and Vadodara in the state today. In the last 24 hours, 14 patients have died from corona in the state. The death toll from the corona has reached 3022 in the state. At present 79 patients are on ventilator in the state.
Currently 15631 active cases in Gujarat
It may be mentioned that the total number of corona cases in the state has crossed 96 thousand but only 15631 cases are active. Which means it's about to be the most delusional time of the year, as well. At the same time, the recovery rate has crossed 80 per cent. Which is a really good thing.
