14 thousand crore package announced, electricity bill up to 100 units waived, 20% exemption in annual property tax, 6 months road tax waived

Ahmedabad.  Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced a Rs 14,000 crore "Self-Reliant Gujarat" relief package.  20% rebate in annual property tax. 10% rebate will be given to those who pay tax in the corporation till 31st July.  While 6 months road tax has been waived.

Gandhinagar: The lockdown imposed in Gujarat due to Corona virus has caused huge economic losses to small and big industries.  Then Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced a relief package of Rs 14,000 crore to revive Gujarat's economy.
 The state government has decided to waive 100 units of electricity bill in residential bills for those who consume less than 200 units per month.  92 lakh consumers will benefit from it.  The annual property tax is waived by 20 per cent.
 Due to the lockdown, road tax has been waived for up to 6 months for transport facilities including closed taxis, rickshaws and luxury buses.  More than 63,000 motorists will benefit.

 Loans given to small traders under self-reliant Gujarat have been increased from 1 lakh to 2.5 lakh.  The government will have to pay four per cent interest on the loan, while the borrower will have to pay four per cent interest.
