College and university students will pass without taking the exam

The Maharashtra government has taken a big decision and canceled the first and second year examinations to be held in the college.  This means that for BA, BCom and BSc, first and second year examinations will not be taken this year.  Exams will be taken only for final year students.  The final semester exams of the third year will be held in July and if the situation does not change, the decision will be taken again after June 20.  Following the decision of the government, all the universities in the state will now have to issue the timetable for the final semester examinations of the third year students.

Information about this has been given to the Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Uday Samant.  He said that except for the final year students of all the colleges and universities in the state, all the students would be given promotions in the coming year without any examination.  These students will be promoted next year without exams due to the ongoing lockdown due to the Koro epidemic.  Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant said last year's exams would be held in July.

It is to be mentioned that the country is currently undergoing a third phase lockdown due to Corona virus which is till May 17.  All schools, colleges and institutions of higher learning are closed due to the lockdown.  Let me tell you that Maharashtra is probably the first state to decide to promote first and second year students in the next year without examination.  Let me tell you that due to lockdown, online education is being provided to students in all colleges and universities.
