Mallya, who has been performing abroad for 4 years, will bring great success to India and Modi government today

A case has been registered against him in Mumbai, so he will be brought to Mumbai.  Sources in the investigating agencies have hinted that the plane carrying Vijay Mallya may land at Mumbai airport on Monday night.  If he reaches Mumbai tonight, he will be kept in the CBI office for a while.  He will be produced in court later.  But if the day comes it will be presented directly in court.

As soon as Mallya reaches Mumbai, the medical team will check his health.  According to sources, some officials from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) will be with Mallya on board.  If Mallya arrives in India on the day, he will be taken straight from the airport to the court.  Sources said that both the CBI and the ED would seek his remand in court.

It may be recalled that a British court, while hearing Mallya's application in August 2018, had sought detailed information from Indian investigating agencies about the jail where he would be kept and where Mallya would be kept after extradition.  The agencies then handed over a video of a cell in Mumbai-based Arthur Road Jail to a UK court.  Where Mallya is planned to be kept after being brought to India.  The agencies then assured the UK court that Mallya would be kept in a very secure barracks inside the two-storey Arthur Road prison complex.  Vijay Mallya, owner of the defunct Kingfisher Airlines, owes Rs 9,000 crore to 17 banks across the country.  He left India and fled to the UK on March 2, 2016.  Indian agencies had appealed to the UK court for Mallya's extradition and after a long battle, the UK court on May 14 sealed Mallya's extradition appeal to India.
