Prior to this, only freight trains and labor trains were running. The third phase of the lockdown is set to be completed on May 17. Ans: Trains will not run in every city of the country from 12th May. Initially only 15 trains (30 with up-down) are planned to run. The number of trains will be increased later.

Question: When will the booking start? Ans: Booking will start from 4 pm on 11th on IRCTC website. Tickets are not available at the station counter, only online bookings are required.
Question: Will waiting and RAC get a chance to sit in the train?
Answer: No. Travel can only be done on a confirmed ticket. In addition, all tourists will be screened. Do not sit on the train if symptoms of corona appear.
Question: Will tickets be discounted as before? What will be the train fare?
Ans: According to the Railways, at present no exemption will be given for passenger tickets in any category. The fare of this train will be the same as the capital train. That means all coaches will have AC.

Ans: Only those who have a confirmed ticket on the platform will get admission. In addition the passenger has to arrive two hours early like at the airport. Because it will take more time to screen all the passengers.
Question: Will the visitor get a platform ticket as before?
Ans: No platform ticket will be issued to anyone from Railways. That means people accompanying the passenger will not get to go to the platform. Railway platforms will also have to comply with social distance.
Question: Is the Health Bridge application mandatory for train travel?
Answer: No. No such decision has been taken so far. However, this rule has been found to be mandatory in flight. However, you are welcome to download this application for your convenience.
Question: What is the arrangement at Ahmedabad?
Answer: A sanitized tunnel has already been constructed at Kalupur station in Ahmedabad. The Sabarmati railway station was also sanitized on Monday.
