‘No-entry’ from Ahmedabad to Rajkot; No one is allowed to go

Ahmedabad District Collector's decision to tightly seal Ahmedabad: No one asked for permission

Anyone from Rajkot city district who wants to go to Ahmedabad will not be allowed under any circumstances.  If anyone wants to come to Rajkot from Ahmedabad, such a person will not be allowed to enter the city.  All the borders of Ahmedabad have been sealed.  Additional resident collector Parimal Pandya said that no one from Rajkot city-district would be given permission to go to Ahmedabad and the district by the collector if the lockdown is being strictly enforced in this regard.

 The state government is concerned over the rising number of corona positive cases in Ahmedabad, Gujarat's most hotspot.  The entrance to Ahmedabad has been closed since 12 noon on Wednesday.  All entrances to Ahmedabad have been sealed.  The state government has directed all the district collectors that no one from any district of the state of Gujarat will be allowed to enter Ahmedabad.

 Following the government's order, Rajkot District Collector Remya Mohan will not be allowed to go to Ahmedabad.  He said that no one should even seek permission and ordered all the officers not to allow anyone to go to Ahmedabad.

 Meanwhile Ahmedabad has been tightly sealed.  If anyone wants to come to Rajkot from Ahmedabad, which has become the hotspot of Koro, they will not be allowed to enter the city.  He will be stopped at a check post on Rajkot Highway and taken into custody at a nearby quarantine center.  No one will be allowed into the city, the statement said.
