71.34% result of Std. 12 Science, the highest was 84.69% of Rajkot


The result of Std-12 science stream has been announced today.  71.34 per cent result of 12 sciences.  The result of boys is 71.69 and that of girls is 70.85%.  Rajkot is at number one with 84.69 per cent result this year.  1,16,643 students appeared for the exam in Standard 12 Science.  It has 83,111 students who have passed, while 33,532 students have failed.  If we look at the subject wise result, the result of Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu and Arabic is 100 percent.  The lowest result was 72.48 per cent in Physics, 72.36 per cent in Chemistry and 85.99 per cent in Biology.  The English result is 98 percent.

 The result is half a per cent lower than last year, from 71.83 per cent last year to 71.69 per cent this year.  Students can view their results on the board's website www.gseb.org.  This time the result will only be seen online so that the local transition does not increase due to Corona's call.  The date for getting the marksheet from the school will be announced in due course.

 This year, a total of 17.60 students of Std. 10 and 12 from all over the state appeared for the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.  There were about 1.40 lakh students in standard 12 science stream and a total of 5.20 lakh students in standard 12 general stream.  The standard 12 examination was held at 56 zones and 653 centers in the state.  However, due to the corona virus this year, students will only be able to view the exam results online.  They will have to wait for the next date to be announced for the certificate from the school.

 In the very difficult situation that has arisen from Kovid-19, the teachers have completed the work of answer book evaluation as well as the result of the students due to the untiring efforts of the officers / staff of the board.  The result of standard 12 science stream in the state is 71.34 percent.  A total of 1,43,278 candidates were registered in 139 centers-sub-centers for the March 2020 science stream examination.  Out of which 1,42,117 candidates were present in the examination.  This number included 1,16,643 regular students in the year 2019-20.  Out of which 1,16,494 examinees were present.  Out of which 83,111 candidates are eligible to get the certificate.
